It is with great sadness that we share the passing of dedicated volunteer, regional Honorary Life Member, and much loved and valued netballer Sally-Ann Chambers.
Sally joined the West Midlands Regional Management Board in 2014, providing exceptional contributions to the development of regional competition. Unfortunately, Sally stood down from the Regional Management Board in 2022 due to health issues, but continued to be heavily involved at a county and club level in South Staffordshire right up until her passing – demonstrating
her unwavering passion and tireless commitment to netball for which she was awarded Honorary Life Membership to the region in 2024, the highest award the region can bestow on a volunteer.
Sally’s passionate and energetic spirit will be sorely missed across the West Midlands, and those who knew her are encouraged to leave a message on the Book of Remembrance on the South Staffordshire County Netball Association website.
