The ONE Awards 2022

A new adventure and a new look. Some of you may have known them as the Vitality Goalden Globes Awards but this year, they have been refreshed to become the ONE Awards. Celebrating the ONEs everywhere who make a difference with their commitment and impact on the lives of people around them.  

Help us spotlight the ONEs who go above and beyond, by nominating someone today!

The ONE Awards will celebrate the achievement of regional England Netball volunteers, at the West Midlands ONE Awards on Friday 20th May at Aston Villa Football Club. This prestigious event is always much anticipated by West Midlands netball members and is an occasion for the netball family to unite for an evening of celebration, and we want you to be part of it. Winners of the regional ONE Awards will be invited to attend the national Vitality ONE Awards held later in the year. 

There are ten nomination categories as follows:  

  1. Coach of the Year – Children & Young People 
  2. Coach of the Year – Adults 
  3. Sheelagh Redpath Community Official of the Year  
  4. Mary Bulloch Community Volunteer of the Year (volunteer role outside coaching and officiating) 
  5. Muriel McNally Community Volunteer of the Year (any volunteer role including coaching and officiating) 
  6. Unsung Hero of the Year (in a Club or League) 
  7. Club of the Year 
  8. Young Volunteer of the Year 
  9. Teacher of the Year 
  10. Inclusion Award

The closing date for nominations in the West Midlands is Sunday 17th AprilWe would love to see as many nominations for the awards as possible this year.  Help us spotlight the ONEs who go above and beyond, by nominating someone today.
